PLANT YOUR OWN AVOCADO TREE IN THE SUPERMARKET!

The company DataHarvest from sunny California came to us with a special vision: in the future, they will equip every avocado (and other fruits) they sell in American supermarkets with an individual QR code. Customers will be able to scan this code on the spot with their smartphone to immerse themselves in an AR experience based around the product. Of course, we were immediately enthusiastic about the project and started working on it right away.

The result is a unique web AR sales tool that starts with users planting a virtual seed in the real environment. This seed grows into a small avocado tree in a matter of seconds, which brings with it many surprises, including a fun game called “Harvest Hero”, recipes in video form and a “Scratch and Win” competition.
