Anyone who was alive in the late nineties will most likely know what the term “Tamagotchi” means. The electronic pet, which needed to be cared for and looked after every day, captivated a whole generation back then and is still a cult figure today. Reason enough for Kubrik to commission us to develop the “Kraki” online game for their client Magenta. This modern reinterpretation of the Tamagotchis of yesteryear shows that the game principle has lost none of its fascination:

Kraki is an extremely cute sea creature that players have to adopt and subsequently care for, feed, wash and keep happy – over a period of seven days. Those who really manage to play every day for a week and take good care of Kraki so that he grows and thrives will be entered into a prize draw to win great prizes such as brand-new smartphones.

With the Kraki online competition, which we realized for Magenta in collaboration with Junge Römer, we were able to engage our client’s target group directly in the Magenta app and fully inspire them – and achieve very good results in terms of views, participation and response rate. Mechanics, creation and implementation went perfectly hand in hand here. We are very happy with the results and the collaboration and the Magenta customers fell in love with our cute Kraki!
